DKNY Pure
Many fragrances that are available today have a stronger scent, which is fine, but not DKNY Pure. This fragrance is much softer, which is perfect when you must be around other people and you don't want to overpower their senses. Soft and subtle can make just as big of an impact as strong and overbearing.
Vanilla
Vanilla is the basis for DKNY Pure. Vanilla is multi-functional as it can be used in a number of different ways. It is used in baking, in candles and in many fragrances. This thin and long bean is used to create an aroma that many of us associate with a comfortable feeling. For Pure, the vanilla that is used is obtained from the country of Uganda which is located in East Africa. In addition, this same vanilla bean is a sustainable product which is a good thing as this encourages proper use of the land's resources.
The scent
Certain smells can drive us crazy. There are some really bad smells and there are really good smells. Pure is a really good smell. The touch of vanilla softens the tones and makes this fragrance light and relaxing. In addition to the vanilla, DKNY has included hints of the Dew-Drop Petal, the Lotus flower and the Bulgarian rose. To soften the scent further, Jasmine, Freesia and Orchid are all wrapped in a soft hug of white amber and sandalwood.
The women who have tried DKNY Pure have nothing negative to say. It is perfect for almost any occasion. It is light with just enough scent for them to know that they smell good; the fragrance is enlightening and refreshing. If stronger fragrances are so overpowering that you don't wear a fragrance, try Pure. One of the downfalls with Pure is that the staying power is several hours. The bottle that DKNY Pure comes in has a very clean and simple look to it. It has almost an organic shape that relates to the beauty of the bottles' contents. The clear (like the product) glass is 100% recyclable. The cap is made of high-purity aluminum. Pure is available in a 1 ounce, 1.7 ounce and 3.4 ounce scent spray as well as a 6.7 ounce tube of body butter. The box states "scent spray" but is sold as eau de parfum spray.
The box which is a light creamy color is a compostable container that is created from sustainable harvested paper. The mill that manufactures the boxes uses 100% of renewable energy. Sustainable vanilla packaged in sustainable paper.
